FAQs
Who & What do we treat?
We treat adults aged 18-60. Due to Federal and State law, we are unable to accept patients that have Medicare or Medicaid, even if you are willing to pay out of pocket.
What to expect during the first appointment?
An initial consultation/evaluation is necessary for all new patients. Your physician will conduct a thorough evaluation of your overall mental health, physical health and wellness. Medication is not always prescribed at this first visit and may require a follow-up appointment.

What to do prior to your first appointment?
After you set up an appointment, you will receive an email from the practice confirming the date & time. You will also receive an email with a link to the patient portal. Please log in and follow instructions posted to fill in your intake forms.
How to pay for care?
Nuance Psychiatric Services is in-network with Aetna and Cigna. If you have a different insurance, you have the option to pay out of pocket and we will provide you with a superbill and billing codes to submit to your insurance provider, so you can obtain the maximum allowable amount from the insurance provider. You can use your HSA/FSA card to pay for your co-pay/treatment. After a successful intake, your credit card information will be kept on file and charged for any follow-up appointment.
